high-wear resistance and toughness provided by geocube TSP core bits |
geocube diamond core bits come with a new and revolutionary design. They are set using Thermally Stable Polycrystalline (T.S.P.) cube shaped diamond cutters. The cutters are mounted on the crown matrix of the core bit such that they produce a V-cutting profile. geocube core bits are available in face discharge or internal flush designs. This makes them suitable for air, water, or mud flushing. |
The geocube diamond bits are produced almost the same way surface set diamond core bits are manufactured, although the cube shaped T.S.P. cutters replace the natural diamonds in a V-shape cutting profile. Unlike diamonds, the cubes remain sharp for the entire lifetime of the core bit. It is highly unlikely that they will flatten. The bits are loved due to the fact that they boast of superb wear resistance properties and extreme toughness. |
Even after countless hours of drilling, it is quite difficult to get the bit crushed or worn out. The bit is designed and manufactured to withstand a great amount of pressure at the tip. So, whether you are handling air, water, or mud flushing, the bit will perform amazingly well. This can be attributed to the stability of the cutters at high temperatures. |
TSP bits are designed for many different types of applications. Despite this, they are popularly used for drilling hard rocks. To get the most out of a TSP core bit, it should ideally be used in strata comprising of soft to medium toughness and a good example is sandstone. Fragmented and abrasive formations can also be drilled using TSP core bits as they give a higher percentage of the core recovery even in situations where formation hardness changes rapidly. The bits are capable of withstanding long hours of service as well as high drilling speeds without causing any issues. Despite the fact that they can work on all types of rock formations, more efficiency is delivered when other core bit forms designed for drilling hard rock are used instead. |
The geocube diamond core bit is quite tough. As a result, it can easily cope in situations where the formation is broken or massive almost effortlessly. Whether you are drilling soft and hard, or even the highly-abrasive formations, look no further than the geocube. |
geocube bits have the ability of penetrating different types of formations which would otherwise require different combinations of bit types to penetrate. In an instance where you would require a combination of tungsten carbide, surface set bits, sawtooth, or soft formation impregnated types, a geocube bit offers the right solution for drilling. |
The geocube diamond core bit delivers consistent and reliable drilling performance on a wide variety of formations. This makes the bit a highly cost-effective and efficient drilling solution suitable for many circumstances. Furthermore, it gives you the opportunity to significantly lower your inventory costs as far as core bits are concerned. In terms of durability, efficiency, and effectiveness, the geocube core bit guarantees dependable functionality. The bit is perfect for drilling abrasive rock formations and broken formations as well. |
